Thermo Fisher Franklin is a 667.2 kW DC net-metered parking lot canopy system. The energy generated in their unused parking lot space will directly offset approximately one-third of the annual on-site usage for the scientific instruments supplier and help Thermo Fisher work toward their sustainability and carbon neutrality goals.

The Ecogy Energy Engineering Team created a v-shaped cantilever design which will work in tandem with their landscaping plan to mitigate and recycle stormwater runoff. The design will direct precipitation towards the catch basins which are installed along the parking rows and serve as a natural watering and filtration system
